Remote sensing and Geospatial Services

GEARS is an academic research laboratory, which means we focus on work that advances our scientific endeavors.  However, we are always looking for new collaborations with public and private entities as long as the collaborations are in-line with our core research topics, which can lead to benefits to both parties.  If you are looking for a partner for the following services, please do not hesitate to contact Dr. Jonathan Greenberg:

• LiDAR data preprocessing and analysis for vegetation mapping including, but not limited to, biomass mapping, plant cover and height, and stem maps and demography, and fuels mapping.
• Big data satellite analysis of terrestrial ecosystems.
• Terrestrial laser scanning and UAV acquisition of forest ecosystems for forest inventories. 
• Development of advanced algorithms for remote sensing data analysis.
